Tachometer: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster.
3. Separate instrument cluster housing from instrument cluster back plate.
4. Remove speedometer.
5. Remove retaining screw and remove tachometer assembly from instrument cluster by carefully pulling the face of tachometer assembly away from instrument cluster back plate.

CAUTION: Tachometer is calibrated at factory. Excessive rough handling could disturb calibration.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
