NOTE:
- Perform Inspection and Verification before performing this pinpoint test.
- To clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's), refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code, Erasing. Clearing Trouble Codes

C1095-1 Check Anti-Lock Brake Pump
- With the vehicle in a quiet area and the ignition switch in the "OFF" position, listen closely to the anti-lock brake pump motor.
- Is the motor running continuously ?
YES - Replace the anti-lock brake relay then go to C1095-2. ABS Main Relay
NO - Go to C1095-3

C1095-2 Check Anti-Lock Brake Pump Motor
- Start the engine, and again listen closely to the anti-lock brake pump motor.
- Is the motor running continuously ?
YES - Replace the hydraulic control unit.
NO - Previous service corrected concern. Clear DTC's and retest.

C1095-3 Check Anti-Lock Brake Operation
- Drive the vehicle in excess of 40 km/h (25 mph) and observe the anti-lock brake warning indicator.
- Is the anti-lock brake indicator lamp illuminated?
YES - Go to C1095-4.
NO - Previous service corrected concern. Clear all codes and retest system.

C1095-4 Check Main Supply Fuse
- Locate and remove fuse 3 (60A) and fuse 7 (30A) from the power distribution box.
- Check fuse continuity.
- Are the fuses OK?
YES - Go to C1095-6.
NO - Go to C1095-5.

C1095-5 Check For Shorted Circuit 90 (R/Y) And 29 (O/Y)
- Disconnect the anti-lock control module C130.
- Measure the resistance between the output side of fuse 3 (60A) and fuse 7 (30A) to a known good ground.
- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
YES - Replace fuse 3 (60A) or fuse 7 (30A). Restore vehicle. Clear DTC's and retest system.
NO - Service short to ground in circuit 90 (R/Y) or 29 (O/Y). Restore vehicle. Clear DTC's and retest system.

C1095-6 Check For Open Circuit 90 (R/Y) And 29 (O/Y)
- Disconnect connector C130 from anti-lock control module and connect breakout box and adapter to harness and module.
- Measure resistance between the output side of fuse 3 and breakout box pin 30 (C130-7).
- Measure resistance between the output side of fuse 7 and breakout box pin 29 (C130-8).
- Are the resistances 5 ohms or less?
YES - Go to C1095-7.
NO - Service short open in circuit 90 (R/Y) and 29 (O/Y). Clear all DTC's and go to C1095-8.

C1095-7 Check Anti-Lock Brake Control Module
- Restore the vehicle. Clear all DTC's.
- Drive the vehicle in excess of 40 km/h (25 mph) and observe the anti-lock brake warning indicator.
- Is the anti-lock brake indicator lamp illuminated?
YES - Replace the anti-lock brake relay. Restore vehicle. Clear DTC's and go to C1095-8.
NO - Previous service corrected concern. Restore vehicle. Clear DTC's and retest system.

C1095-8 Check Anti-Lock Brake Control Module
- Drive the vehicle in excess of 40 km/h (25 mph) and observe the anti-lock brake warning indicator.
- Is the indicator illuminated?
YES - Replace fuse 3 (60A) and fuse 7 (30A). Replace HCU. Restore vehicle. Clear DTC's and retest system.
NO - Previous service corrected concern. Restore vehicle. Clear DTC's and retest system.
