Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the sliding roof panel to duplicate the condition.2. Inspect to determine if one of the mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
Mechanical
^ Damaged roof panel.
^ Damaged roof sliding panel seals.
^ Damaged roof sliding panel guides.
^ Damaged cables.
Electrical
^ Blown fuse.
^ Circuitry open/shorted.
^ Loose or corroded connections.
^ Damaged roof sliding panel switch.
^ Damaged sliding roof panel motor.
^ Damaged circuit breaker.
3. If the inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the condition(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
