DISASSEMBLY
1. Place shift lever housing in soft jawed vise.
2. Remove groove pin retaining actuator to gearshift lever.
3. Remove actuator from gearshift lever.
4. Remove circlip, flat-washer and seal from transmission control selector housing.
5. Remove cup, gear shift control shaft boot and gearshift lever from transmission control selector housing.
6. Remove three bolts retaining transmission control selector housing to case cover.
7. Remove bolt and bellcrank from case cover.
8. Remove transmission gearshift rod and clevis from case cover.
9. Remove bushing from inside of case cover.
10. Remove reverse and fifth relay lever pivot pin from rear of case cover.
11. Remove gear shift control shaft boot, shifter shaft seal and bushing from front of case cover.

ASSEMBLY
1. Install bushing, shifter shaft seal and gear shift control shaft boot to front of case cover.
2. Install reverse and fifth relay lever pivot pin to rear of case cover.
3. Install bushing from inside of case cover.
4. Install bellcrank inside case cover.
5. Install transmission gearshift rod and clevis into case cover and bellcrank. Install retaining bolt.
6. Install transmission control selector housing to case cover and install three retaining bolts.
7. Install gearshift lever, gear shift control shaft boot and cup to transmission control selector housing.
8. Slide seal, flat-washer and circlip over gearshift lever to install in transmission control selector housing.
9. Slide actuator onto lever and install groove pin.
