Fluid - M/T: Service and Repair

1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove transaxle drain plug and allow fluid to drain into a suitable container.
3. Install drain plug. Tighten to 40-58 Nm (29-43 ft. lbs.).
4. Clean transaxle case area surrounding the oil level plug to prevent fluid contamination.
5. Remove oil level plug.
6. Add correct amount of specified transmission fluid until fluid level reaches the lower edge of oil level plug port.
7. Replace oil level plug. Tighten to 40-58 Nm (29-43 ft. lbs.).
8. Lower vehicle.
