Flow of Diagnosis
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the clutch system to duplicate the condition.2. Verify wiring and connections for the clutch pedal position switch (CPP) to find looseness, corrosion, damage or other obvious causes for a malfunction.
3. Inspect the following components to determine if any mechanical concerns apply:
Mechanical
^ Clutch release hub and bearing.
^ Clutch pedal.
^ Flywheel housing.
^ Clutch disc.
4. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s), correct concern and continue Inspection and Verification. If the concern(s) remain after the inspection. determine the symptoms and go to Diagnosis by Symptom. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
