Valve Body: Testing and Inspection

CLEANING
1. Clean the control valve body assembly and accumulator body assembly of the main control in cleaning solvent. Blow dry with compressed air.
2. The solenoid valve body should not be cleaned in cleaning solvent. It may be blown clean with compressed air or wiped clean with a lint free cloth.

INSPECTION
1. Remove the valves and accumulators individually to prevent losing or misplacing valves or springs. Check for free movement and ensure there are no nicks, chips, burrs or scrapes on the valves.
2. Check the valve and accumulator springs. Make sure they are not broken or bent.

CAUTION: If the valve sticks in its bore and cannot be freed, the main control must be replaced.

3. Inspect the solenoid valve body wires for chafing and at the point where they connect to the solenoid and connector for breakage.

CAUTION:
^ Wires cannot be spliced or repaired. If damaged, the solenoid valve body must be replaced.
^ Do not attempt to remove the solenoid valve body wiring cover.
