Disassembly






1. Remove manual valve from main control.





2. Use an 8 mm socket to remove the two solenoid valve body bolts. Remove the solenoid valve body.

CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove the solenoid valve body wiring cover.





3. Remove the solenoid valve body gasket from the accumulator body assembly. Discard the solenoid valve body gasket.





4. Use a 7 mm socket to remove the three pressure tap plate bolts. Remove the pressure tap plate.





5. Remove the pressure tap plate gasket from the accumulator body. Discard the gasket.





6. Use an 8 mm socket to remove the three control valve body-to-transfer plate bolts. Remove the manual valve detent spring assembly.





7. Remove the three accumulator body-to-transfer plate bolts.





8. Remove the accumulator body assembly, accumulator body separator plate and accumulator body separator gaskets from the control valve body assembly. Discard the gaskets.





9. Remove the control valve body assembly, valve body separating plate and valve body separator plate gaskets from the transfer plate. Discard the valve body separator plate gaskets.





10. Remove the intermediate and overdrive accumulator valve plug retaining plate from the accumulator body assembly.

Intermediate/Overdrive Accumulator Valve Plug Removal:





11. Thread an M6 x 1 bolt into the intermediate and overdrive accumulator valve plug. Remove the intermediate and overdrive accumulator valve plug.





12. Remove the intermediate and overdrive accumulator plug seal. Discard the seal.
13. If necessary, disassemble and clean the parts of the accumulator body assembly and control valve body assembly. Lubricate and reassemble the parts as soon as possible, to avoid accidental damage or incorrect installation.

CAUTION: Remove and clean one valve at a time to avoid incorrect installation.
