Drive Chain: Service and Repair

Reverse/Overdrive Ring Gear Bearing Removal:

DISASSEMBLY
1. If necessary, use Input Shaft Bearing Remover T91T-7127-A and Bearing Cup Remover T87P-7120-D to remove the No. 16 reverse/overdrive ring gear bearing assembly.

Stator Support Bearing Removal:

2. Use Bearing Cup Remover and Impact Slide Hammer T50T-100-A to remove the No. 17 stator support bearing assembly.





ASSEMBLY
1. Install the No. 16 reverse/overdrive ring gear bearing assembly on Bearing Replacer T94P-77000-K with the bearing part number facing outward.

Reverse Overdrive Ring Gear And Stator Support Bearing Installation:

2. Use Driver Handle T80T-4000-W and Bearing Replacer to install the No. 16 reverse/overdrive ring gear bearing assembly.





3. Install the No. 17 stator support bearing on Bearing Replacer.





4. Use Driver Handle and Bearing Replacer to install the No. 17 stator support bearing assembly.
