Heated Glass Element Switch: Description and Operation

^ The heated back window switch and light has a push-button that is spring-loaded to turn the system on or off. A central timer module controlled relay turns off after approximately 10 minutes of operation. If more time is needed, the heated back window switch and light can be reactivated for another 10 minutes by pushing the button. Repeat as required.
^ Pushing in the heated back window switch and light electrically closes the normally open contacts in the heated back window switch and light and provides power from fuse junction panel to the back window glass grids and indicator and trigger the timing circuit. The contact will remain closed until the timer turns it off, the heated back window switch and light is pushed, or the ignition switch is turned to OFF.
^ Power for the back window glass grids and indicator is supplied from the fuse junction panel through a high current 30 amp fuse which protects the circuit.
^ Power for the central timer module comes from the accessory terminal of the ignition switch and is available when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. The circuit is protected by a fuse in the fuse junction panel.
