Reset

RESET PROCEDURE
To reset the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch, press the button on top of switch.

NOTE: In the reset position, the button can be pressed an additional 1.59 mm (0.0625 inch) against a spring. This is a normal condition.

Once open, it must be manually reset before restarting the vehicle.
It is not possible to restart the engine until the IFS switch is manually reset.
