Starter Relay: Description and Operation

The starter relay consists of:
- Pull-in coil.
- Contacts.

When the ignition switch is in the START position:
- Pull-in coil is activated and pulls the contacts together.
- Current passes through the starter from the power distribution box to the starter solenoid.

The starter relay is deactivated when the ignition switch is in the RUN or OFF position.
