Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
VERIFY THE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the accelerator pedal and shaft to duplicate the condition.
2. Visually inspect the accelerator pedal and accelerator cable for obvious damage and interference.
3. Correct any obvious concerns, such as pedal interference from floor mats or damage to cable.
4. If concern(s) remain after inspection, determine the symptom and go to Symptom Chart.
