Removal and Installation

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove Three Way Catalytic (TWC) converter.
3. Remove oil separator retaining bolts and oil separator and gasket from cylinder blocks.
4. Remove Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve from oil separator.
5. Inspect PCV valve and oil separator grommet for deterioration. Replace as necessary.
6. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten oil separator retaining bolts to 8-11 N.m (71-97 lb-in).
