Inspection and Cleaning

NOTE: Cleaning of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve is not recommended. The PCV valve should be replaced at the specified mileage intervals.

Shake PCV valve and carefully inspect for splits or cracks. If PCV valve does not rattle or is damaged, replace the valve.
