Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation

The luggage compartment lamp system consists of:
^ Luggage compartment interior lamp with a replaceable miniature bulb.
^ Luggage compartment lamp switch.
^ Circuit wiring.
^ Circuit protection.

Power is provided to the luggage compartment interior lamp through circuit protection located in the instrument panel fuse junction panel.

Opening the luggage compartment door, closes the luggage compartment lamp switch which provides a ground for the luggage compartment interior lamps.

Ground is provided through Circuit 31 (BK).
