Inside Handle Lamp, Door Lock and Window Switch Illumination

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the glove compartment and inside handle illumination lamps to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect the system to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

Mechanical
^ Damaged inside handle lamp.
^ Damaged door lock or window switch.

Electrical
^ Open circuit.
^ Circuit shorted to ground.
^ Loose/corroded or damaged connector.
^ Damaged harness.

3. If the inspection reveals concerns that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concerns remain after the inspection, determine the symptom and GO to the Symptom Chart. Inside Handle Lamp, Door Lock and Window Switch Illumination
