Inspection and Verification (Start Testing Here)
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the headlamps to duplicate the condition.2. Inspect the headlamps system to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
Mechanical
^ Damaged headlamp.
^ Damaged headlamp switch.
^ Damaged multi-function switch.
Electrical
^ Open Circuit.
^ circuit shorted to power.
^ circuit shorted to ground.
^ Loose/corroded or damaged connector.
^ Damaged harness.
^ Damaged bulb.
3. If the inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Chart(s)
