Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Make sure headlamp switch is in the OFF position.

WARNING: HANDLE A HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CAREFULLY, IT MAY SHATTER IF IT IS SCRATCHED OR DROPPED. GRASP THE BULB ONLY BY ITS PLASTIC CASE AND DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PART. KEEP THE BULB OUT OF CHILDREN'S REACH. IF THE GLASS PART IS TOUCHED, WIPE IT CAREFULLY WITH A CLEAN RAG AND RUBBING ALCOHOL.

CAUTION:
Do not remove the burned out bulb unless it can be immediately replaced with a new one. If a bulb is removed for an extended period of time, contaminants may enter the lamp and affect its performance.

2. Disconnect wiring harness to headlamp bulb.
3. Turn the headlamp bulb socket 1/4 turn and pull the headlamp bulb and socket out of the headlamp.
4. Pull headlamp bulb straight out of socket.

INSTALLATION






1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
