Timing Gear

REMOVAL
1. Remove camshaft timing belt.
2. While holding the camshaft sprockets (6256) with the Camshaft Sprocket Holding Tool T74P-6256-B, loosen the camshaft sprocket retaining bolt.
3. Remove the camshaft sprocket retaining bolts and the camshaft sprockets from the camshafts (6250).
4. Inspect camshaft sprockets. Replace camshaft sprocket as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. Align camshafts using Camshaft Alignment Timing Tool T94P-6256-CH.
2. Install camshaft sprockets onto camshafts and loosely install retaining bolts for the camshaft sprockets.
3. Install camshaft timing belt.
4. Tighten camshaft sprocket retaining bolts to 64-72 Nm (47-53 ft. lbs.).
