Oil Pan, Engine

Step 1 ... Push oil pan flush against transaxle case.
Step 2 ... Tighten oil pan retaining bolts in a standard-type torque sequence to 20-24 Nm (15-18 ft. lbs.).
Step 3 ... Install lower engine rear plate.
Step 4 ... Tighten retaining bolts to 8-12 Nm (71-106 inch lbs.).
Step 5 ... Install oil pan retaining bolts to transaxle housing and tighten to 34-46 Nm (25-34 ft. lbs.).
