^ The crankshaft is supported on the bottom of the cylinder block by five steel crankshaft main bearings.
^ The crankshaft thrust main bearings and crankshaft thrust washer control crankshaft end play.
^ A timing belt connects the intake camshaft and exhaust camshaft to the crankshaft.
