Connecting Rod: Service Precautions

CAUTION: Do not use a caustic cleaning solution or damage to connecting rods (6200) may occur.

Keep the connecting rods and caps with matching numbers together.

Use the proper tools to disassemble and assemble the piston, piston pin, and connecting rod. Extensive damage can result if the wrong tools are used.

Use care not to scratch the pistons.
