H - Excessive and/or Erratic Pedal Travel

H1- Rough Road Test
- Road test vehicle under rough road conditions.
- Apply brakes slowly.
- Are brakes good ?
YES - Vehicle OK.
NO - Go to H2.

H2- Check FRONT HUB NUT
- Check front wheel bearings for looseness/end play. Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.
- Are wheel bearings loose ?
YES - Replace bearing. Repeat H1.
NO - Check front disc brake rotor for thickness variation. Refer To Brake Rotor/Disc - Service and Repair. Brake Rotor/Disc
