REMOVAL

1. Remove the brake master cylinder and the power brake booster. Service and Repair

2. Remove the two brake master cylinder to hydraulic control unit brake tubes.

3. Remove the four remaining hydraulic control unit to wheel brake tubes.
4. Disconnect the two electrical connectors.
5. Remove the four hydraulic control unit bracket mounting bolts.
6. Remove the hydraulic control unit.
7. Remove the nuts from the insulators. Remove the hydraulic control unit from mounting bracket.
8. Remove the two insulator studs and one insulator ring from the hydraulic control unit.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the two insulator studs and one insulator ring to the hydraulic control unit.
2. Position the HCU into the mounting bracket and install the three nuts. Tighten the nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
3. Position the HCU mounting bracket to the cowl panel. Install the four mounting bolts.
4. Install the four wheel to HCU brake tubes. Tighten the brake tube nuts to 13-22 Nm (10-16 ft. lbs.).
5. Connect the two electrical connectors.
6. Install the brake master cylinder to HCU brake tubes at the HCU. Tighten the tube nuts to 13-22 Nm (10-16 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the power brake booster and brake master cylinder.
8. Bleed the brake system.
