Master Cylinder, Brakes

DESCRIPTION - The brake master cylinder has:
^ A double hydraulic cylinder with primary and secondary pistons.
^ A common transparent reservoir with fluid level indicator.
^ A provision to act as reservoir for clutch master cylinder.
^ Been mounted tandem with the power brake booster.

SERVICING
^ The brake master cylinder reservoir is serviced separately.
^ The brake master cylinder filler cap is serviced separately.
^ The brake master cylinder is serviced as an assembly. Do not, under any circumstances disassemble the brake master cylinder and return it to service on a vehicle.

OPERATION
^ When the brake pedal is applied, pressure is applied by mechanical linkage to the primary and secondary pistons.
^ Brake master cylinder pistons apply hydraulic pressure to the two circuits.
