Rear

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.





3. Remove parking brake rear cable and conduit from parking brake lever and rear disc brake caliper.
4. Remove cotter pin and guide pin.
5. Remove caliper locating pin cover. Remove locating pin.
6. Lift rear disc brake caliper off rear disc brake caliper anchor plate.
7. Remove rear brake hose and washers from rear disc brake caliper housing.
8. Plug hose and remove rear disc brake caliper.

INSTALLATION
1. Position rear disc brake caliper in rear disc brake caliper anchor plate.
2. Install rear brake hose onto rear disc brake caliper using new washers and tighten to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs).
3. Remove residue from the rear disc brake caliper locating pin threads and apply thread-lock and sealer to the threads. Apply silicone dielectric grease to the disc brake caliper locating pin shaft and caliper body.
4. Install and tighten disc brake caliper retaining bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
5. Install caliper retaining bolt and locating pin covers.
6. Install guide pin and cotter pin.
7. Install parking brake rear cable and conduit into rear disc brake caliper and parking brake lever.
8. Adjust parking brake by operating the parking brake control several times.
9. Bleed brake system.
10. Install wheel and tire assembly. Tighten lug nuts to 85 Nm (62 ft. lbs.).
11. Lower vehicle and retest.
