Disc Backing Plate
REMOVAL1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove rear disc brake rotor. It is not necessary to disconnect rear brake hose from the rear disc brake caliper for this operation. Support the rear disc brake caliper so that the rear brake hose is not twisted or stretched. Rear Disc Brakes
CAUTION: Do not use impact wrench on rear axle wheel hub retainer or damage to rear axle wheel hub retainer will result.
4. Remove wheel hub retainer and hub.
5. Remove three bolts and rear wheel disc brake shield.
INSTALLATION
1. Install rear wheel disc brake shield and three bolts. Tighten bolts to 6-9 Nm (54-79 inch lb.).
2. Install wheel hub and hub nut.Tighten hub nut to 230-260 Nm (170-192 ft. lbs.).
4. Install rear disc brake rotor, shoes and caliper.
