Power Six-Way

The driver six-way power seat system consists of:
^ seat regulator control switch
^ seat regulator motor
^ vertical drive gears
^ horizontal rack and pinion drive
^ circuit wiring
^ circuit protection

The driver's seat regulator control switch allows movement of the seat up, down, forward, or rearward.
^ Pushing the seat regulator control switch knob in the direction of travel will provide power to the seat regulator motors and cause the seat to move.
^ The mechanical portion of the front seat track in the horizontal drive consists of a rack and pinion.
^ The pinion housing and seat regulator motor is attached to the movable section of the front seat track.
