Sliding Roof Panel

NOTE: Removal and Installation of the roof sliding panel housing is a two person operation.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected or reconnected, some abnormal driving symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module relearns its strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 18 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.

2. Remove roof headlining.






3. Disconnect sliding roof panel drain hoses from each corner of roof sliding panel housing.
4. Disconnect wiring harness to sliding roof panel motor.






5. Remove 12 bolts retaining roof sliding panel housing to roof. Remove roof sliding panel housing.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
2. Tighten sliding roof panel bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft lb). Align roof opening glass
