Manual Outside Mirror Glass Replacement

CAUTION: It is necessary to break the mirror glass in order to replace it. Use caution when handling broken glass.

1. Break outside rear view mirror glass and remove from mirror glass mounting plate.
2. Clean mirror glass mounting plate using Extra Strength Tar and Road Oil Remover B7A-19520-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M5B106-A.
3. Apply Weather Strip Adhesive E8A2-19552-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESP-M2G14-A to mirror glass mounting plate.
4. Press outside rear view mirror glass onto mirror glass mounting plate and hold for one minute. Apply masking tape to top and bottom of outside rear view mirror glass and allow adhesive to cure.
