Installation
1. Position Rotunda Powertrain Lift (014-00765) or equivalent, with wood blocks Approx. 1016 mm (40 inches) in length secured to the lift under the front sub-frame.
2. Position front sub-frame and connect power steering pressure hose, and power steering return hose to the steering gear.
3. Align front sub-frame to body. Route power steering pressure hose, and power steering return hose into position at rear of engine. Install the four front sub-frame to body retaining bolts loosely.





4. Install Sub-Frame Alignment Pin Set (T94P-2100-AH) or equivalent, into front sub-frame and body alignment holes. After aligning the holes, slightly tighten the front sub-frame to body retaining bolts.
5. After front sub-frame alignment is complete, tighten the four front sub-frame to body retaining bolts to 110-150 Nm (81-110 ft.lb.) and remove alignment tools.
6. Install A/C accumulator retaining bracket screws to the front sub-frame. Tighten securely.





7. Connect power steering oil cooler hoses at RH front of front sub-frame. Tighten hose clamps securely.
8. Install Powertrain Alignment Gauge (T94P-6000-AH) or equivalent, to LH front engine support bracket and front sub-frame. Tighten the two retaining bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft.lb.), and through bolts until snug.
9. Remove Three Bar Engine Support (D88L-6000-A) or equivalent.
10. Install RH front engine support insulator with retaining bolts to sub-frame and through bolt. Tighten the two front sub-frame retaining bolts to 41-55 Nm (30-41 ft.lb.), and through bolt to 103-137 Nm (75-102 ft.lb.).

NOTE: Observe the position of the RH front engine support insulator: It must be centered in the bracket and in perfect alignment from front to rear.
11. Remove Powertrain Alignment Gauge (T94P-6000-AH) or equivalent.
12 Install LH front engine support insulator to front sub-frame with two retaining bolts. Tighten bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft.lb.).

NOTE: Observe the position of the LH front engine support insulator: It must be centered in the bracket and in perfect alignment from front to rear.

Re-tighten bolts to 41-55 Nm (30-41 ft.lb.). Install LH front engine support insulator through bolt and tighten to 103-137 Nm (75-102 ft.lb.).
13. Install both stabilizer bar end link link nuts, and connect stabilizer bar. Tighten nuts to 47-65 Nm (35-48 ft.lb.).





14. Connect front suspension lower arm at ball joint pinch bolts. Tighten bolts to 50-58 Nm (37-43 ft.lb.).
15. Connect steering gear to steering column and install pinch bolt.
16. Install catalytic converter.








17. Install LH and RH tie rods, or ends to steering knuckle
18. Install front wheels and tires.
19. Install front bumper cover braces to LH and RH sides of front sub-frame. Tighten bolts securely.
20. Install radiator supports to front sub-frame. Tighten bolts to 8-11 Nm (71-97 in.lb.).





21. Install splash shield at front of front sub-frame. Tighten screws securely.
22. Lower hoist.
23. Remove safety wire retaining engine cooling fan motor, fan blade and fan shroud assembly to the upper radiator support.
24. Install oil level dipstick and exhaust manifold heatshield. Tighten bolts to 8-11 Nm (71-97 in.lb.).
25. Connect the battery ground cable.
26. Fill power steering system with Premium Power Steering Fluid E6AZ-19582-AA or equivalent.
27. Check front end alignment.
