Front Washer Pump and Reservoir






REMOVAL
1. Remove front fender apron.

NOTE:
- The windshield washer reservoir and cover assembly, windshield washer pump retaining ring, seal and windshield washer pump impeller are serviced separately.
- Engine Air Cleaner (ACL) removal may aid in windshield washer reservoir removal and installation.

2. Remove windshield washer reservoir retaining screws and lift assembly away from front fender apron.
3. Disconnect electrical connector and hose.

NOTE: Windshield washer reservoir will drain with hose disconnected.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

WARNING: WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID CONTAINS METHANOL WHICH IS POISONOUS. OBSERVE ALL CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS INDICATED ON LABEL OF WASHER SOLUTION CONTAINER.

CAUTION: Do not operate windshield washer pump until fluid is added to windshield washer reservoir. Damage to windshield washer pump may occur.

2. Tighten screws retaining windshield washer reservoir to 3-5 Nm (27-44 Lb-In).
3. Refill windshield washer reservoir and check for leaks and proper operation.
