Air Compressor






REMOVAL

WARNING: TURN AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH OFF TO PREVENT VEHICLE DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove engine air cleaner (ACL). See Powertrain Management.
3. Remove windshield washer reservoir assembly.
4. Remove compressor wheel hub splash shield and push pins.
5. Remove air line from compressor air drier by pushing retainer inward and pulling out air line.





6. Disconnect compressor electrical connector.
7. If necessary, raise vehicle on hoist.





8. Remove three nuts retaining air compressor to fender apron.
9. Lower vehicle.
10. Remove air compressor and compressor air drier assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten compressor to fender retaining nuts to 5.4-8.1 Nm (48-71 inch lbs.).
