Front Safety Belt

REMOVAL
1. Remove front seat shoulder strap guide cover by gently pulling outward on the outer edges. Once released, lift upper flap away to reveal the front safety belt guide hex flange retaining nut.
2. Insert Safety Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2100-A and remove the front safety belt guide hex flange retaining nut.
3. Remove front safety belt anchor-to-sill bolt.
4. Remove center body pillar inside upper finish panel.
5. Remove front safety belt guide and screw from B-pillar.
6. Remove front safety belt retractor bolt.
7. Remove front safety belt retractor and tongue from vehicle.

INSTALLATION






1. Position front safety belt retractor and tongue in vehicle. Make sure safety belt webbing is not twisted. If it is, remove the twist.
2. Install front safety belt retractor bolt. Tighten bolt to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
3. Install safety belt guide and screw to B-pillar.
4. Install center body pillar inside upper finish panel.
5. Install front safety belt anchor-to-sill bolt. Tighten bolt to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
6. Check condition of front seat shoulder strap guide cover. If not in good condition, replace with new part. Position lower portion of front seat shoulder strap guide cover over front safety belt guide and snap into position.
7. Install front safety belt guide hex flange retaining nut. Tighten nut to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
8. Gently push upper flap of front seat shoulder strap guide cover down until it snaps onto the front safety belt guide.
9. Check the restraint system for proper operation and perform Functional Test Procedure.
