NOTE: The fuel gauge, battery voltage gauge and low fuel level warning switch are calibrated together; therefore, these components must all be replaced when replacing ANY one of the components.
When the fuel level falls to approximately 1/8 of a tank, the low fuel indicator will illuminate.

The low fuel level warning switch:
- Is designed to reduce fuel gauge needle fluctuation caused by fuel motion in the fuel tank.
- Provides a low fuel warning when fuel gauge reads approximately 1/8 full.
