Temperature Gauge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: The oil pressure gauge is serviceable as part of the engine coolant temperature gauge.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster.
3. Remove screws retaining instrument cluster main lens and instrument cluster mask assembly to instrument cluster back plate and remove.
4. Pull engine coolant temperature gauge out of instrument cluster clips.

INSTALLATION
1. Position gauge terminals to clips on instrument cluster back plate and press engine coolant temperature gauge into clips.
2. Position instrument cluster main lens and instrument cluster mask assembly to instrument cluster back plate and install retaining screws.
3. Install instrument cluster.
4. Connect battery ground cable.
5. Check operation of engine coolant temperature gauge.
