Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

Engine coolant temperature sensor:
^ Is mounted into the engine intake manifold.
^ Sends a signal sent to electronic instrument cluster which varies with the resistance of engine coolant temperature sensor relative to the engine coolant temperature.
