Fuel Pressure Release: Service Precautions
WARNINGS- The fuel system is always pressurized to 830 kPa (120 psig) downstream of the fuel pressure regulator and up to 20,700 kPa (3000 psig) upstream of the fuel pressure regulator. Use care when servicing the fuel system or personal injury may occur.
- If the fuel tubes continue to vent or pressure remains after one minute or more, fuel tank solenoids are stuck open. Do not disconnect the fuel tubes while pressure remains or personal injury may occur.
