Front Washer Pump and Seal Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Remove windshield washer reservoir from vehicle. Disconnect electrical connector and windshield washer hose.
2. Using a small-blade screwdriver, pry out windshield washer pump, being careful not to damage plastic housing.
3. Remove one piece seal/filter and inspect for damage or debris.

INSTALLATION
1. Install seal/filter assembly.
2. Lubricate inside diameter of seal with soapy solution and insert windshield washer pump into windshield washer reservoir cavity until it is firmly seated in the seal.
3. Connect electrical connectors and window washer hoses. Install windshield washer reservoir.
4. Fill windshield washer reservoir slowly (otherwise air will be trapped in windshield washer reservoir causing it to overflow) and operate windshield washer pump.

WARNING: WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID CONTAINS METHANOL WHICH IS POISONOUS. OBSERVE ALL CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS INDICATED ON LABEL OF WASHER SOLUTION CONTAINER.

5. Operate washer system and check for leaks.
