CAUTION:
Replacement Fasteners
Suspension fasteners are IMPORTANT attaching parts in that they could affect performance of vital components and systems, and/or could result in major service expense. They MUST be replaced with ones of the same part number or with equivalent parts if replacement becomes necessary. DO NOT use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design.
Fastener Tightening/Torque
Torque values must be as specified during assembly for proper retention of parts. New fasteners must be used whenever old fasteners are loosened or removed and when new components are installed.
Bending/Heating
Never attempt to heat, quench or straighten any suspension part. Replace with a new part.

DESCRIPTION
The front suspension is a long spindle, short and long arm design. The design consists of:
^ short upper front suspension arm bushing joint.
^ long front suspension lower arm strut.
^ front shock absorber.
^ front coil spring.
^ front stabilizer bar, lower suspension arm stabilizer bar insulator, and stabilizer bar link.

COMPONENTS
The front suspension consists of:
^ Hot forged A-frame upper front suspension arm bushing joint with lobed for life, low friction, integral ball joint.
^ Hot forged front suspension lower arm with lubed for life, tension loaded, low friction front suspension lower arm ball joint.
^ High efficiency 1:1 ratio front stabilizer bar with zero compliance double bail joint stabilizer bar links, upset rings to limit lateral movement and tapered link attachments for increased reliability.
^ Hot forged, one-piece front wheel spindle with integral caliper anchor plates.
^ Riveted front disc brake rotor shields.
^ Variable rate front coil springs.
^ Cold formed double isolated front suspension lower arm strut.
