Wiper Switch: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION
The multi-function switch, mounted to the lock cylinder housing, unifies the following functions:
^ windshield washer/wiper.
^ headlamp flash-to-pass and high beam.
^ turn signal.
^ hazard flashers.

OPERATION
The wiper switch, located in the knob at the end of the multi-function switch, operates in the following manner:
^ Ignition switch must be in the RUN position.
^ The wiper settings include:
^ LO (fixed low speed)
^ HI (fixed high speed)
^ INT (interval)
^ OFF
^ The positions are selected by rotating the knob actuator.
^ When interval position is selected, the time between wiper cycles will decrease as the knob is rotated away from OFF position and will increase as the knob is rotated toward OFF position.
^ The time interval between wipes will vary depending on the knob's position from OFF position.
