Windshield Washer Switch: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION
The multi-function switch, mounted to the lock cylinder housing, unifies the following functions:
^ windshield washer/wiper.
^ headlamp flash-to-pass and high beam.
^ turn signal.
^ hazard flashers.

OPERATION
The washer switch, located at the end of the multi-function switch, operates in the following manner:
^ Ignition switch must be in the RUN position.
^ To actuate the washer housing, push the end of the turn signal lever toward the steering column.
^ Release the switch to turn off the washer.
^ The windshield wiper blades will continue to operate for a few wipes and then automatically return to the previous wiper speed setting (OFF, LO, HI, INT).
^ Washer operation is available in all positions of wiper operation (including OFF).
