Fuel Tank Mounting Straps: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

NOTE: RH fuel tank mounting strap may be removed and/or replaced without removing the fuel tank, if a support is provided under the fuel tank and the LH fuel tank mounting strap is attached.

1. Support fuel tank and remove LH and/or RH fuel tank support strap.
2. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
3. Tighten fuel tank support strap retaining bolts to 30-40 Nm (22-29 lb ft).
