Fuel Tank Filler Pipe

REMOVAL
1. Remove three filler neck retaining screws and fuel tank filler cap.
2. Drain fuel from fuel tank.
3. Raise vehicle.
4. Remove bolt retaining fuel tank filler pipe and fuel tank filler pipe shield to rear floorpan.
5. Remove hose clamps securing fuel tank filler pipe to fuel tank to filler pipe hose and relief discharge vent.
6. Remove fuel tank filler pipe.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten fuel tank filler pipe and fuel tank filler pipe shield retaining bolt to 4.0-5.6 Nm (36-49 lb in).
3. Tighten fuel tank to filler pipe hose and fuel tank vent to filler pipe hose clamps to 2.7-3.7 Nm (24-32 lb in).
4. Tighten fuel filler neck to body bolts to 2.7-3.7 Nm (24-32 lb in).
