Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW DRIVE BELT TENSIONER (6B209) TO SNAP BACK AS DAMAGE TO DRIVE BELT TENSIONER OR PERSONAL INJURY COULD RESULT.

NOTE: Minor cracks in the V-ground portion of the drive belt (8620) are considered normal and acceptable. If the drive belt has chunks missing from the ribs, the drive belt should be replaced.

Conditions requiring drive belt replacement are as follows:
^ rib chunk-gut
^ excessive wear
^ severe grazing
^ frayed cords or similar conditions

Replace any drive belt exhibiting one of these conditions.
