Fuel Gauge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: The gauges are calibrated at the factory. Excessive rough handling could disturb the calibration. DO NOT remove pointers.

NOTE: Battery voltage gauge is serviced as an assembly with temperature gauge

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster as described.
3. Remove screws, instrument cluster main lens, and instrument cluster mask on instrument cluster.
4. Remove fuel gauge.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
