Front, Optional Sport Seat

REMOVAL

NOTE: The removal procedures are listed for the driver seat, the passenger seat is typical.







1. Remove front seat. Place seat on a clean surface.
2. Remove front seat track lower shield.
3. Disconnect front seat adjusting motor drive tubes from seat control switch cover.
4. Remove screws retaining seat control switch cover to front seat track lower shield and remove seat control switch cover.
5. Remove two bolts from front seat back latch to front seat cushion frame and spring.
6. Remove front seat back head restraint. Unhook J-retainers at the bottom of front seat back cover.
7. Disconnect three J-retainers from the LH bolster front seat armature and three J-retainers from right bolster front seat armature. Pull trim cover from LH and RH bolster front seat armatures leaving both bolster front seat armatures exposed.
8. Remove two screws from each front seat back side extension adjuster guide on front seat back frame.







9. Cut three hog rings from each bolster front seat armature listing wires and remove each front seat armature wire from each bolster listing.







10. Separate hook and loop fastener from front seat back cover at top center seam from front seat back. Slip front seat back cover from front seat back frame and front seat back assembly. Remove angel hair from front seat back. Remove front seat back from front seat back frame and front seat head rest guide rod sleeves.
11. Remove screws from the LH front seat back latch lower cover and front seat back frame. Remove screws from the RH front seat back latch lower cover and front seat back frame.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
