Driver or Passenger Front Seat
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove retaining pins and front seat track to floor insulators.
CAUTION: Use care when handling seat and track assembly. Dropping assembly or sitting on seat not secured in vehicle may result in damaged components.
3. Remove front seat track retaining bolts.
4. Disconnect wiring harness.
5. Remove seat from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Place seat assembly into vehicle and install the seat over the two studs. Move seat full back making sure both sides lock.
2. Connect electrical wiring for the restraint system.
3. Install front inboard seat track-to-floorpan bolt first, then outboard seat track-to-floorpan bolt. Tighten to 17-23 Nm (13-16 lb-ft). Slide seat full forward making sure both sides lock.
4. Install rear outboard and inboard seat track-to-floorpan nuts. Tighten outboard nut to 17-23 Nm (13-16 lb-ft), and inboard nut to 68-92 Nm (51-67 lb-ft). Make sure both latches operate properly.
5. Install front seat track to floor insulator and retaining pins.
