Power Door Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove front door trim panel and watershield.
3. Remove pop rivet retaining power door lock actuator to front door.
4. Disconnect wiring at power door lock actuator.
5. Disconnect power door lock actuator rod from front door latch.
6. Remove power door lock actuator.


INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order. Use Heavy Duty Riveter D80L-23200-A or equivalent.

CAUTION: Make sure that the power door lock actuator boot is not twisted during installation. The pop rivet must be installed with bracket base tight to the inner panel.
